ok...so i have 7,719 sunspear promotion points (sunspear castellan ( 8 ) ) but every where i go to try and find more, it wont let me take the hunt...
(of course i only have 60.2% of elona explored so i dont know of any places) could sum1 direct as to where to go to farm the last 8k points i need?

You can't get anymore Sunspear points except from quests. It is currently impossible for anyone to reach Spearmarshal. People with Spearmarshal used resurrecting enemies to get the points necessary, which has since been removed.

yes sucks for stuck at lvl 8 but nothing we can do about it right now.

Are they ever going to add anything fun and meaningful that will allow players to earn Spearmarshall? And what about the Lightbringer ranks, is anything ever going to be added that will make earning the higher up ranks practical at all?

Yes, it was stated elsewhere that they (Anet) plan to add more ways of obtaining Spearmarshall points in the future so that you could max out this title.

and they said that it would be implemented with the big patch before winters day - as usual it never happened.

Personally, I'm against allowing Spearmarshall as a player accessible rank. The Spearmarshall is the supreme commander of the order, and you can only have one at a time.

Of course, an expansion could add a background explanation (like, sending independent elite sunspear groups into the Realm of torment, making them independent, allowing the rank for supreme sunspears).

And yes, I know some people tricked the game into granting them the rank. Fine. I'd take it away and convert it into 1000 gamer points

I know haw reach the title, but i disconnected in process

. It happens long time ago, when we dont have reconnect update (and unfortunately i have bad internet connection (my disconnect some times take more than 10 min

) – so i cant reach title!
IMO this is BAD mistakes from «game maker»: title who «check» my connection. I agree try and try again to make 7.501 points (from 7499 to 15000) – give me chance!!!
I propose – MAKE NPS WHO DROP SUNSPEAR POINTS TO 7499! (may be 1 dropped point=1gold) – so all who need can more then 1 attempt to reach the title.

I generally try not to complain about things we are or are not given in game but this is one thing that I'm starting to get really bored with. I actually find myself getting annoyed now I cannot get to spearmarshal and I wish something would be done about it just to put us all out of our misery.

whats the point of having a title called Spearmarshall if we can't get it?

will it be of any use in any future games?

sorry to say, bad planning from ANet. once you get to the Castellan stage it serves no further purpose. unlike Lighbringer titles.

if there are no further plans for this title then perhaps they should cap it at Castellan or allow us to gain it somehow.
